Actually, i would consider this Intermediate Framework , plus it would need the other stuff i've provided in the other threads to satisfy ppl
always available, always on, about ~10 years c/c++, java[script], win32/directx api, [x]html/css/php/some asp/sql experience. (all self taught)

According to me, Advanced Framework is fine bcoz 3D objects aren't included in the Intermediate Section.LuisR14 wrote:Actually, i would consider this Intermediate Framework , plus it would need the other stuff i've provided in the other threads to satisfy ppl

Re: Chili Advanced DirectX FrameWork
Is this how 3D is done in directX9? Ive heard that dx8 and dx11 are completely different. Is it still useful to learn dx9 because Ive been doing dx11 for a while now.

Re: Chili Advanced DirectX FrameWork
Yes. But nobody uses DirectX 8 now. Mostly all beginner game developers use directx 9 to program their games, bcoz most of the old computers(Windows XP or Vista) still use DirectX9 compatible graphic cards. They do not support DX10 or 11. So, making the long story short, Yes, DirectX9 is still useful. But there is no problem learning DX11. Its just kind of like Future Planning...GreatJake wrote:Is this how 3D is done in directX9? Ive heard that dx8 and dx11 are completely different. Re: Chili Advanced DirectX FrameWork
I don't think sprite rotation is a big deal....plus he showed how to implement it in the other thread.Pindrought wrote:I think he might be talking about adding sprite rotation.bshivam2001 wrote:According to me, Advanced Framework is fine bcoz 3D objects aren't included in the Intermediate Section.LuisR14 wrote:Actually, i would consider this Intermediate Framework , plus it would need the other stuff i've provided in the other threads to satisfy ppl

BTW, I would like Intermediate Framework instead of Intermediate Framework!
