Ok, thanks. Now I have something that starts to resemble something working. It still looks like a lot to get add more attacks/enemy types, but far better than other ideas I had. And I just realized the "Project Twin" series is in fact not a JRPG, but precisely the thing I should be looking at (action RPG). Oh well, it will be interesting to see how things compare.
