Anyways I thought I'd try DLing the source to LCS, but I get lots of errors. So I guess I gotta set up the linker correctly. Fuck, that's lots of work.. So I guess what I'm getting at is how to get stated making an RPG?

Hah, I downloaded the source for LCS. Don't think I actually built it though, just peeked under the hood a bit.

i got some text adventure code from that black art book. So I'll start with that first. Its got grammatical rules so you can make sentences it will understand, well its a limited grammar you may have seen it.
Then add a map to it later on and a viewport and some Mountain Dew. You said peek under the hood. heh heh Butthead
