AFC: Inaugural Meeting
Posted: June 12th, 2014, 3:55 am
Getting close to getting the framework for the engine all setup and integrated. Spent the last couple of day fixing some sketchy code relating to clockwise/counter-clockwise conventions, now I just have to integrate some (relatively simple) collision and momentum stuff and I'll be able to start on the systems and structure of the actual engine itself.
My goal is to have the skeleton of the system sketched out in code by next weekend (21st), and I think that would be a good time to hold our first meeting. It would be nice to discuss some things before any details of the engine are coded, and I'd like to hear everyone's ideas as well.
Now coordinating our meetings is a problem that I've been thinking a lot about. We all live in different time zones and have our own schedules, so it will be difficult to find a time that works for a majority of members. I can't find any good tools online that do exactly what we need, so we'll have to improvise. I've set up a spreadsheet on Google Docs that you guys can edit (you don't even need an account). Just color in the times that you can meet up. I picked GMT for the timezone, so you'll probably have to do a little time math.
Here is what's on the docket so far:
Here's the link for spreadsheet, let me know if you have any problems:

It's dangerous to time math alone! Take this:
