And...a function declared as... void func( char* var ) {} ...would be called like... char var[ 5 ]; func( var );...

I have an okay handle on using pointers, but there are little things that I don't quite get, like the difference between...

and...

void function( char &var ) {}

And is "FILE* pFile " vs "File *pFile" the same and just a matter of preference?
