Re: NO MATLAB
I haven't watched the newer videos, but I think chili hasn't gone to 3D yet.
I got my 3D stuff mostly from rastertek.com. and....... IT'S UP AGAIN! yay.

Looks like their going to make a series on DirectX 12 as well. How cool is that.

Re: Is Chili still doing these tutorials?
Chili has a tendency to leave for a while to do his "zen", and then comes back for a few more lessons. Let's face it, the lessons take a lot of time to make, and he does them for fun. If he doesn't enjoy it, he has to take a break from it. The domain expires around the new year, so he's bound to com...

Re: Sexy code ? .. haha
As I've mentioned before, I like to use them within functions or when setting a value. Other than that I think "if"s are a lot neater. For example: somefunction( lol, 5, ( ( x < 10 ) ? 100 : 200 ), 6 ); float position = ( x - y * z >= 36.0f ) ? 500.0f : 550.0f; if ( something ) { Dothis; } else { Do...

Shouldn't be too hard. In fact if you can get a 3D framework up it should be quite easy.

Re: 3D Adventure sword type game, similar to Zelda
Interesting, am I the only one who gets 15-20 fps?
Depends on what the game is about, but for a sort of fps game, I think the classic mouse control would be best. But again, if you're going for something special the current controls could work just fine.

Re: Having trouble with debugging. Lesson 20
I think it's more of a concentration test. If people are too hasty, it's easy to miss it. But if you watch the video closely it's kinda clear how you're supposed to spell it.

Re: German, anyone?
Haha, yea I wasn't too sure what it was about, but I had to include it because it was part of the original post. Roughly translated: "The girl on the windowsill scrubs the shit clean (ie. cleans the dirty windowsill until it shines). All people stood and watched, her brush(ing) was something to see!...

Re: Useful links & user submitted games
I've currently got a slight fever so I don't feel like working on the list at the moment, but I've received a couple of PMs telling that the list is missing their games. They will be added eventually. Once the list is complete I encourage to check again if it's missing anything, but until it's compl...
